I have been doing hair for as long as I can remember! My creative drive and passion for hair began as a little girl playing with my dolls and Barbies. I have been working professionally for 9 years in Beverly Hills and 5 years in Encinitas. My main source of inspiration comes from nature and natural beauty. I started as a professional snowboarder in the small mountain town of Breckenridge, Colorado. A severe injury to my back from a snowboarding accident encouraged me to think of my future. My mother suggested I attend Vidal Sassoon Hair and Cosmetology School. I began my education at Vidal Sassoon in 2003. One year later and after studying makeup at Studio Makeup Academy, off to Beverly Hills I went!
I worked for Juan Juan Salon full time for four years. During that great perioud I met and fell in love with my husband and I knew I wanted to start a family. So, in 2007 we moved to Carlsbad, CA and I began a slow transition and a new beginning at Divinity Salon. I have the best of both worlds. Working in Beverly Hills and working runway shows at LA Fashion week for top designers including Louie Verded, Shay Todd, Eduardo Diesel, etc. On the flip side, I have two sweet daughters, Bijoux & Zion, and my family at Divinity. I have been fortunate enough to work on television shows like Split Ends, The Singing Bee, the Willy Wonka remake by Tim Burton and a few Progressive Auto Insurance commercials.
When working with hair I feel as though I am absorbed within the hair's fabric and I take pleasure in creating new shapes and textures to push the boundaries of hair still further. I feel so captivated by the possibilities of hair and I am confident I will enhance every client's natural beauty.
